North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina International nudges Valor Preparatory Academy

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Owls (Concord, NC), by a count of 68-62.

The Comets (17-8) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots go into the 1A Metro 8 outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Piedmont Community Charter held off Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 91-68, in a non-league outing.

The Owls now hold a 12-12 record.
