The Council Lumberjacks basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Salmon River Savages to 26 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horseshoe Bend for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Council will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 53-51 non-league win over Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-11.
