The Grand Ledge Comets topped the visiting Okemos Wolves basketball team by a final score of 60-44 in Wednesday's league game.
The Comets (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Everett (Lansing, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record.
The Wolves now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Lansing for a test on Friday, February 23. Okemos will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 51-46 non-league loss to Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
