Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) and the visiting Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), saw McDowell's basketball squad wallop Asheville by a tally of 63-29.

With the victory, McDowell improves its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to confront the Rockets in a 3A/4A Mountain challenge on Friday, February 23. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 22-1. A.C. Reynolds won 62-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Erwin (Asheville, NC)
