Catholic Central Sabers (Manistee, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI), 45-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Catholic Central upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Sabers travel to Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI) to play the Cardinals in a West Michigan D bout on Friday, February 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Mason County Eastern lost 27-16 in their recent league bout against Pentwater (Pentwater, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI) in a West Michigan D bout, on Friday, February 23. Walkerville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 52-34 non-league loss to Mason County Central (Scottville, MI).
