Central Yellowjackets (Louisville, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY), 63-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 23-8 on the season.

Next up, the Eagles play the Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Portland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-13 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-22 record after their 66-16 non-league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY).
