The Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Pellston Hornets (Pellston, MI), 34-18 in Wednesday's league test.

The Warriors (1-17) will now prepare for their test against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen go into the Ski-Valley test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Mancelona notched a victory over Onaway (Onaway, MI), 44-39, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Central Lake for a Ski-Valley test on Tuesday, February 27. Pellston will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 51-26 league loss to Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 4-15.
