With the win, Matanzas upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pirates host Beachside (St. Johns, FL) to play the Barracudas in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. The Barracudas go into the match with a record of 1-1.

With the defeat, Sandalwood drops to 0-1 on the season. The Saints travel to Fletcher (Neptune Beach, FL) to play the Senators in a 2A D2 match on Friday, February 23. The Senators go into the match with a record of 1-2. Fletcher lost 18-7 in their recent non-league match against Menendez (St. Augustine, FL)
