In Wednesday's non-league battle, the St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) lacrosse squad routed the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC), by a count of 17-8.

Coming up next, the Sharks clash with the West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) in a 5A Lower District 5 battle, on Monday, February 26. St. James will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Chiefs now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Ashley for a non-league battle on Friday, February 23. North Myrtle Beach will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
