Stoneman Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Creekside Knights (St. Johns, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 29. Stoneman Douglas will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Bartram Trail (St. Johns, FL).
The Lightning now possess a 16-1 record.
