In Wednesday's league challenge, the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) ice hockey team nudged the host Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), by a margin of 4-3.
The Mounties now possess a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Greenwich for a State Championship Division challenge on Friday, February 23. Mount St. Charles Academy will clash with a Avengers team coming off a 5-2 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 3-14.
The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers enter the State Championship Division challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, North Kingstown was edged by East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI), 5-2, in a league challenge.
