The Deerfield Academy Big Green ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the visiting Kent School Lions to 3 in the Big Green league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Deerfield Academy moves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Big Green host Westminster School (Simsbury, CT) to face the Martlets in a contest on Friday, February 23. The Martlets go into the contest with a record of 9-11. Westminster School lost 8-6 in their recent league contest against Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT)

The Lions now sport a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they host Choate Rosemary Hall School for a contest on Saturday, February 24. Kent School will face a Wild Boars squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT). The Wild Boars record now stands at 4-21.
