California High School Softball - Lincoln knocked off by Sweetwater

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 14-4.

With the triumph, Sweetwater moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Red Devils host El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA) to play the Braves in a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. The Braves come into the contest with a record of 1-0. El Cajon Valley won 26-2 in their recent non-league game against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 23. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
