The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Central Chargers to 0 in the Gryphons league win on Friday.

The Gryphons (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors enter the 1A D-I Area 2 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Jefferson County was overwhelmed by Washington County (Sandersville, GA), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Chargers face the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 2 game, on Tuesday, February 25. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 12-0 league loss to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA).
