The Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) baseball trounced the host Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), 11-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Troopers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Site for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22. Mooreville will clash with a Royals team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Myrtle (Myrtle, MS). The Royals record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Alcorn Central drops to 0-3 on the year. The Bears host New Albany (New Albany, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
