The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Kemper Academy Rams (DeKalb, MS) and the host Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), saw Kemper Academy's baseball team gain a win over Columbus by a tally of 4-1.
The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Falcons face the Quitman Panthers (Quitman, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 22. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS).
