Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), 7-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Elizabeth advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hathaway (Jennings, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Hornets now have a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marksville for a non-league match on Monday, February 24. Plainview will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
