The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) and the host Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), observed Woodford County's basketball team overwhelm Bryan Station by a score of 56-34.

The Yellowjackets (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY). The Rockets come into the District 30 challenge with a 5-21 record. In their last challenge, Shelby County trounced Henry County (New Castle, KY), 66-59, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Defenders encounter the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a District 42 challenge, on Wednesday, February 26. Bryan Station will attempt to improve on its 22-6 season record.
