The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls basketball squad (Carlsbad, NM), was outscored 65-47 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM)
With the victory, Hobbs advances its record to 22-4 on the year.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls now own a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clovis for a 5A District 4 battle on Tuesday, February 25. Carlsbad will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 77-45 league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-16.
