The Thornwood Thunderbirds basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Crete-Monee Warriors to 45 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 14-17 record. They play next when they host Joliet West for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. Thornwood will play a Tigers team coming off a 67-24 league win over Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 20-9.

With the loss, Crete-Monee falls to 18-12 on the campaign.
