The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND) and the visiting Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND), observed Fargo North's basketball team edge Fargo South by a margin of 94-91.

The Spartans (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND). The Mustangs come into the AA East challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Sheyenne edged Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND), 79-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bruins battle the West Fargo Packers (West Fargo, ND) in a AA East bout, on Tuesday, February 25. Fargo South will attempt to move on its 4-16 season record. The Packers go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 74-69 league loss to Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND).
