The Knox Central Panthers basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Harlan Green Dragons to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Perry County Central for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. Knox Central will confront a Commodores team coming off a 81-57 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 21-13.

With the loss, Harlan falls to 4-22 on the campaign. The Green dragons host Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to confront the Black Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. The Black Bears go into the game with a record of 22-7. Harlan County won 85-68 in their recent non-league game against Pineville (Pineville, KY)
