The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Tongue River Eagles (Dayton, WY) and the visiting Moorcroft Wolves (Moorcroft, WY), observed Tongue River's basketball team knock off Moorcroft by a score of 48-40.
The Eagles (5-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Sundance (Sundance, WY). The Bulldogs come into the 2A East challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Sundance was knocked off by Wright (Wright, WY), 79-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Wright Panthers (Wright, WY) in a 2A East challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Moorcroft will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 20-2 record after their 74-62 league win over Big Horn (Big Horn, WY).
