The Winfield Generals triumphed over the visiting Poca The Dots basketball team by a margin of 87-52 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Generals (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Cabell Midland was trounced by Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV), 73-57, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the The Dots battle the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Monday, February 24. Poca will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 59-44 league win over Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
