Indiana High School Basketball - West Lafayette can't hold off Western

Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN), 54-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Western upgrades its record to 12-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lewis Cass (Walton, IN) to face the Kings in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Kings enter the match with a record of 4-15. Lewis Cass lost 45-31 in their recent non-league match against Caston (Fulton, IN)

The Red Devils now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon for a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. West Lafayette will face a Tigers squad coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 14-6.
