The Rowan County Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Boyd County Lions to 46 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 17-7 record.

With the loss, Boyd County falls to 17-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Fairview (Ashland, KY) to confront the Eagles in a District 64 game on Monday, February 24. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-20. Fairview lost 65-31 in their recent non-league game against Bath County (Owingsville, KY)
