In Friday's non-league battle, the host Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs basketball squad scored a tight 46-43 victory over the Bryan Station Defenders.
With the victory, Paul Laurence Dunbar advances its record to 12-15 on the year.
The Defenders now own a 6-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayre for a District 42 battle on Monday, February 24.
