In Friday's league test, the Burlington Cougars (Burlington, CO) basketball squad knocked off the host Simla Cubs (Simla, CO), by a score of 51-41.

Next, the Cougars encounter the McClave Cardinals (McClave, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 22. Burlington will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 19-2 record after their 47-38 league win over Cheyenne Wells (Cheyenne Wells, CO).
