The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Piper Pirates to 58 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to West for a United Kansas game on Monday, February 24. De Soto will confront a Chargers team coming off a 58-53 league loss to Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Piper falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS) to confront the Bobcats in a United Kansas game on Tuesday, February 25. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 8-10. Basehor-Linwood lost 61-32 in their recent league game against Seaman (Topeka, KS)
