The Kingsley Stags basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Elk Rapids Elks to 34 in the Stags league triumph on Friday.
The Stags now have a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cheboygan for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. Kingsley will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 39-17 non-league win over Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, Elk Rapids falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI) to confront the Rayders in a Lake Michigan game on Monday, February 24. The Rayders go into the game with a record of 3-18. Charlevoix won 34-31 in their recent league game against Grayling (Grayling, MI)
