The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) and the host Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI), observed Grand Ledge's basketball team overwhelm Everett by a score of 62-11.

The Comets (4-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Mounties come into the non-league challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Northwest was routed by Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI), 50-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Sexton Big Reds (Lansing, MI) in a Freelance challenge, on Monday, February 24. Everett will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record.
