In Friday's league contest, the host Fremont Packers basketball team scored a big 63-38 triumph over the Manistee Chippewas.
The Packers (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Tri County Area was trounced by Reed City (Reed City, MI), 59-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Chippewas battle the Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Manistee will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Bucks go into the contest with a 8-12 record after their 47-45 league loss to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
