North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions can't hold off Surry HomeSchool

February 21, 2025: Mount Airy, NC

Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots (Mount Airy, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), 46-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Surry HomeSchool upgrades its record to 7-17 on the year. The Runnin' Patriots travel to South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 28-3. South Guilford HomeSchool won 53-17 in their recent non-league match against NC Heat (Greensboro, NC)

The Stallions now sport a 7-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Families Instructing Students HomeSchool for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 4. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will face a Hawks squad coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Excel Christian Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 13-10.
