The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Zeeland East Chix (Zeeland, MI) and the visiting Holland Dutch (Holland, MI), observed Zeeland East's basketball team knock off Holland by a score of 53-34.

The Chix (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI). The Sailors come into the Ottawa-Kent - Green challenge with a 12-3 record.

In their next game, the Dutch encounter the Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Holland will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Saxons come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 44-16 non-league win over Wellspring Prep (Grand Rapids, MI).
