Illinois High School Basketball - Staunton fells Marquette Catholic

The Staunton Bulldogs basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Marquette Catholic Explorers to 28 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 27-5 record. They play next when they travel to Central/Southeastern for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. Staunton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 28-3.

With the loss, Marquette Catholic falls to 21-11 on the campaign.
