In Friday's non-league contest, the host Parma Panthers basketball team scored a close 39-33 triumph over the Melba Mustangs.
The Panthers (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Malad (Malad, ID). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 23-1 record. In their last contest, Malad nipped North Fremont (Ashton, ID), 49-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Grangeville Bulldogs (Grangeville, ID) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 22. Melba will attempt to better on its 18-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 18-6 record after their 51-43 non-league win over Ririe (Ririe, ID).
