The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR) and the visiting Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR), observed Mountain View's basketball team overcome Ridgeview by a margin of 49-33.

The Cougars (9-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Summit (Bend, OR). The Storm come into the 5A Intermountain challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Summit defeated Caldera (Bend, OR), 57-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Ravens battle the Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) in a 5A Intermountain challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Ridgeview will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Lava Bears come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 81-24 non-league loss to Redmond (Redmond, OR).
