The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the visiting Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR), observed Sheldon's basketball team overcome Roseburg by a margin of 45-29.

The Irish (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado come into the 6A Southwest challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, North Medford dropped by Willamette (Eugene, OR), 59-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians battle the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Roseburg will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Axe come into the challenge with a 5-19 record after their 81-3 non-league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR).
