In Friday's league contest, the host South Christian Sailors basketball team scored a good 53-42 triumph over the Wayland Wildcats.

The Sailors (20-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, MI). The Hawkeyes go into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Hamilton was topped by Holland Christian (Holland, MI), 41-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Forest Hills Northern Huskies (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Wayland will attempt to better on its 13-7 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 19-2 record after their 51-38 non-league win over Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI).
