The Panthers (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Benson Tech (Portland, OR). The Astros come into the non-league challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, Benson Tech trounced Lincoln (Portland, OR), 69-67, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Axe battle the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. South Eugene will attempt to better on its 5-19 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 45-29 non-league loss to Sheldon (Eugene, OR).
