The Estacado Matadors soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Andrews Mustangs to 1 in the Matadors league victory on Friday.

The Matadors now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Greenwood for a 4A Region 1 District 2 bout on Saturday, February 22. Estacado will play a Rangers squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Andrews moves to 6-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lake View (San Angelo, TX) to play the Chiefs in a 4A Region 1 District 2 bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Lake View lost 6-1 in their recent league bout against Greenwood (Midland, TX)
