In Friday's league outing, the host Western Hills Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Young Women's Leadership Academy Lady Owls.

The Cougars (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Highlanders go into the 4A Region 1 District 7 outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Eastern Hills Southwest (Fort Worth, TX), 3-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Lady Owls confront the Dunbar Wildcats (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 7 outing, on Tuesday, February 25. Young Women's Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 1-9 record after their 8-0 league win over Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX).
