The Castleberry Lions soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast Phoenix to 1 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now hold a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Worth for a 4A Region 1 District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 25. Castleberry will encounter a Bullfrogs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast moves to 3-7 on the year.
