The China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) soccer nipped the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 1-0 in Friday's league challenge.
The Cougars now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Marlin for a 4A Region 3 District 23 challenge on Tuesday, February 25. China Spring will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Connally moves to 3-11 on the year. The Cadets travel to Lorena (Lorena, TX) to encounter the Leopards in a 4A Region 3 District 23 challenge on Tuesday, February 25. The Leopards go into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Lorena won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Robinson (Robinson, TX)
