The Ingleside Mustangs soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Santa Gertrudis Academy for a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 25. Ingleside will play a Lions squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Jones (Beeville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Rockport-Fulton moves to 3-12 on the year. The Pirates host Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Warriors & Cherokees in a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Warriors & Cherokees go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Tuloso-Midway lost 5-2 in their recent league bout against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX)
