Texas High School Soccer - Jones knocks off King

The Jones Trojans soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host King Brahmas to 1 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Calallen for a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 25. Jones will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-2 league win over King (Kingsville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, King moves to 2-14 on the year. The Brahmas travel to Bishop (Bishop, TX) to play the Badgers in a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Bishop 3-3 in their recent league bout against Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX)
