Florida High School Softball - Branford bounces Union County

February 21, 2025: Branford, FL 32008

The Branford Buccaneers softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers to 2 in the Buccaneers league win on Friday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middleburg for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. Branford will encounter a Broncos team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Trenton (Trenton, FL). The Broncos record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Union County moves to 1-2 on the season. The Fightin' tigers host Lafayette (Mayo, FL) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Lafayette lost 13-4 in their recent non-league battle against Santa Fe (Alachua, FL)
