Mississippi High School Softball - New Hope bounces Choctaw County

The New Hope Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Choctaw County Chargers to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Webster for a non-league battle on Monday, February 24. New Hope will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Choctaw County moves to 2-2 on the season. The Chargers host Eupora (Eupora, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, February 24. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 4-0.
