The Leuzinger Olympians softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Hawthorne Cougars to 1 in the Olympians league win on Saturday.

The Olympians now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawndale for a battle on Saturday, February 21.

With the loss, Hawthorne moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cougars host Legacy (South Gate, CA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 24. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Legacy lost 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Whittier (Whittier, CA)
