Florida High School Baseball - Dixie County gets by Union County

February 22, 2022: Lake Butler, FL 32054

Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), 8-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dixie County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Lafayette (Mayo, FL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, February 25. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-0. Lafayette won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Madison County (Madison, FL)

With the defeat, Union County falls to 0-1 on the season. The Fightin' tigers host Baldwin (Baldwin, FL) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 23. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Baldwin won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Newberry (Newberry, FL)
